Raspberry Pi 1¶

After waiting months for our RaspPi's we finally got them.

First basic functionality tests went fine with

• RaspBMC
• Pidora 18
• Raspian
• Fedora 17 Remix

While Fedora is maybe my personal preference, Raspian is more up-to-date and delivers better performance.

Worth testing is

• CentOS7 https://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/AltArch/Arm32

  • use of WLAN-Dongle (ASUS USB-N10, out of the box)

  • usage of external HDD
  • remote control via HTTP by Android APP (Yatse XBMC Remote Control)

• TP-Link TL-WR702N in Client-Mode as hard-wired wireless-access-client
